Analyzing art work
Develop a repertoire of art-related terminology, engage in close observation, reflection, analysis, and interpretation of works of art in online galleries as well as a selection of pieces in The Auckland Art Museum.
Then, you will select an individual work of art from an online gallery. Write a 1-page description, using some of the terminology in art.
Name of piece, artist, where it’s housed, what it is, and when it was created – 1st paragraph
Body paragraphs – just descriptive with no analysis but it can be what the effect of the piece is.
