Describe some specific needs that a student from another culture may experience when beginning their studies at an Australian school. Outline, and explain, one teaching strategy, that would help to support a student from another cultural group, to ensure they feel included in the school/classroom environment.

Describe one physical, sensory, cognitive or behavioural need that you may encounter in your future teaching. (For example, Blindness or vision impairment, Deaf or hard-of hearing, Cerebral palsy, Spinal cord injury, Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Acquired brain injury).
