- We live in a day and age where organizations must constantly keep up with technological advances. From my experience, the older workforce is the most resistant to changes in this area; younger generations grew up with technology and, typically, are not as challenged as those generations that did not.
That said, having several generations in the workplace is a good thing! Due to people living longer and the 2008 financial crisis, we are seeing more generations in the workplace now than ever. How will this impact your leadership style, specifically related to facilitating change.
- Can you think of a time where soliciting feedback from others backfired? Maybe their input wasn’t implemented, which resulted in them not supporting the change. If so, how do you handle those employees who feel their suggestions weren’t valued? Thanks!
