Description

During Intensive , you will be assessing and implementing care for a patient experiencing a small bowel obstruction (SBO). During your workshop you will be required to consider a nursing care plan. Following this Intensive, using the provided CRC Nursing Care Plan Template you will need to consider the patient situation, identify normal and abnormal cues collected and identify the highest priority nursing problem. After devising your nursing problem, you will need to:

Develop SMART goal(s)

Devise nursing actions (at least 3) and specify if it is a nursing dependent or independent action

Provide a rationale for each action

Evaluate outcomes for each action.
