Adolescents Mental Health during the COVID-19 Pandemic: how does mentoring support pupils’ attainment, and mental health and well being in a case study secondary school in Scotland?

Research Aim

This research aims to evaluate the impact of Mentoring on pupils’ attainment, and mental health and well being affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The study will seek to achieve the following:

Objectives

• To find out pupils’ views regarding mentoring.

• To discover if mentoring can reduce pupils’ anxieties

• To determine if mentoring can improve pupils’ self-esteem.

• To ascertain if the impact of mentoring on pupils’ mental health and wellbeing can be demonstrated.
