The learning outcomes being assessed
At the completion of this unit the students will be able to:-
1) Assess the appropriateness of and utilise information retrieval systems of several different levels of sophistication.
2) Analyse complex real data in both quantitative and descriptive forms.
3) Appreciate and manage the multi-factorial aspects of company analysis.
4) Apply accounting, finance and business theory to make appropriate recommendations regarding the company being studied.
5) Critically appraise the internal and external financial reporting of the company and for the financial decisions of the company.
6) Communicate complex financial data within a structured and coherent presentation.
Work constructively in a team, adopting both leading and supportive roles within the group
