Assessment task details and instructions
The assignment requires you to produce a 3,000 word annotated bibliography about a nursing intervention of your choice.
1. Identify a nursing intervention – you may choose your personal synopsis you produce in your FSCN module.
2. Using an appropriate search strategy on CINAHL and MEDLINE databases locate evidence that discusses your intervention, this must be primary research.
3. Critically appraise the 3 papers you found by conducting your search. Using an approved critical analysis tool prepare 3 annotated bibliographies. Ensure ethics are explored and any barriers to the intervention you have chosen to critique.
4. Present your findings from conducting this critical analysis.
5. Include a reference list

Your student roll number should be the title of the Word file. Do not insert your name anywhere in your assignment or on Turnitin.
• Type your essay in a clear, readable font, size 12 or larger, with page numbers throughout.
• You may choose to use the above headers throughout your work.
• Use line spacing 1.5 or 2 in the main body of your assignment and single line spacing in your final reference list at the end of your assignment.
• Provide a final word count (not including your final reference list) at the end of your assignment.
• Your ‘in-text’ citations and final reference list should be written in APA 7th (Harvard) style.
