1. Re-read all the information you have been given making notes about all of
Mark’s needs, there will be many.

2. Now put each of these needs in order of priority, it might help you to prioritise
needs by thinking about

a. How much risk is there to Mark if this need is not addressed?

b. How can you use e.g. Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs to help you place
needs in order from physiological needs to higher order needs?

c. How you might you use the therapeutic relationship to enable you to work
collaboratively with Mark?

d. How important is it to recognise Mark’s strengths and his support
networks?

3. Now write around 500 words about how you prioritised Marks needs
