Part II

Below you will find performance profiles on three employees. You are the manager of all three of these employees. Your assignment is to develop a managerial approach for each employee. Based on what you have learned this week on Situational Leadership, develop your approach with each employee. You should include things such as your approach regarding task assignment, direction, communication, training, and overall support. Use references to support your rationale for your selected approach.

Prepare an APA formatted, double-spaced paper. Your paper should include 1-2 paragraphs for each employee. Use the information presented this week as well as information from at least one additional outside credible source. Cite your resources appropriately with references and in-text citations in accordance with APA style.

Employee #1 – Robert

Robert is an experienced and confident employee. He is a consistent performer and self-reliant. He is always willing to help others on the team. Robert is proactive and self-assured.

Employee #2 – Janice

Janice is new to the position. She is eager and enthusiastic. She is inexperienced but willing to learn and take direction. She is unsure and often makes mistakes. She is optimistic that she can eventually excel in this role.

Employee # 3 – Brandon

Brandon has been in the position for 6 months. He has flashed of competence. He has demonstrated some skills but he is not yet competent. He is discouraged and at times overwhelmed. He is still learning and gets frustrated when he makes mistakes. His performance is unreliable and inconsistent. At times Brandon is disillusioned and confused
