How to support an area of personalised learning in the primary classroom: My chosen topic/area is ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder)

Student will pick an area of personalised learning and discuss and reflect on methods used to support the personalised learning in the primary classroom.

• Introduction to what the area of personalised learning is relating to current theory.

• Knowledge and understanding of the range of methods and resources that may be used for the chosen area of personalised learning.

• Discussion of the methods used within the primary classroom and how they can be personalised for learners.

• Use critical reflection to show how literature has impacted on their knowledge and understanding of the chosen area of personalised learning.

What does inclusion look like in classroom for ASD children?

Talk about keeping class calm, not overloaded with pictures, less noise etc. talk about group working too

Talk about the strategies used to support children with ASD. Use 2 intervention that are used in schools to support children with autism
