• Intern Role: As a supervised trainee, I lead weekly skills training sessions that teach children, teenagers, adults, and their families how to cope and self-soothe when they are dealing with anger management, anxiety, or depression. These sessions supplement the counseling services provided by the client’s designated therapist and incorporate strategies that support the client’s stated goals and objectives. I also input and maintain current client information as well as document summaries of skills sessions.
