MGMT 459 Sustainable Business Management Assignment Instructions Current Sustainable Business Management Issue Analysis
Each student must prepare one individual written report and a 3-5 minutes presentation on one article of a particular interest to him/her from the past week’s WSJ issue or other sources.

The report must include:  a summary of the issue based on the analysis of the selected article and at least 2 more supplemental resources/articles,  discussion of its relevance to the course content,  analysis of pros and cons of the author’s position and arguments,  review of student’s personal views on the issues, and  recommendations for new approaches to its solutions.

This analysis will be approximately 2-3 double-spaced pages (with complete references). The reference to the original article and at least 2 more supplemental articles/resources must be provided in your report. Both written report and presentation are due by the class meeting date a student is scheduled to present.

Assessment criteria

1. Address all relevant issues identified in the Current Sustainable Business Management Issue Analysis instructions and additional issues you identify as a result of your research and analysis. Both the breadth and depth of your analysis will be evaluated.

2. Demonstrate evidence of critical analysis, synthesis, and self-reflection. make sure that your arguments are highly critical and reflect your understanding of appropriate concepts, theories, and tools you use for completing your analysis. You are expected to demonstrate a good grasp of textbook materials and good capability of using them to analyze the discussed issues.

4. Draw implications of the issues and their impact on sustainable business management practice and provide a set of well-supported recommendations for actions to resolve the identified issues.
