Topic : Agile Project Management (1) – Life Cycle Selection for Projects
Your agile project involving the development of a software for Google has been progressing steadily until now. But without any warning, your co-project manager (who is a senior manager in the organization) suddenly leaves the company and is replaced. The new manager is not willing to accept Agile Project Management methodologies on the project and has refused to have his people participate at the level of the prior manager. His unwillingness to embrace Agile project management methodologies will seriously impact the success of the software project that you are implementing.
1. How would you explain to the new manager why agile is the preferred methodology for your software development project? (Give at least 3 reasons)
2. How would you advise this new manager about the urgency for the culture of agile be also adapted at the organizational level? You need to give this manager at least three (3) practical ways in which the organizational culture can be changed to be more adaptive.
