Purpose of the Research Paper: The purpose of this assignment is to provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate their critical thinking skills, their written communication skills, and their understanding of key concepts covered in this course by encouraging students to apply the knowledge they acquired in this course to a written discussion of a controversy involving a business entity or industry.

Approach to the Research Assignment—Students must:
