what next in your career.

Paper details:

Develop a personal academic success plan which helps to prepare for NCLEX. Your entry can be any format (concept map/tables/diagrams). It should include the following components.

Assess. Your road to success starts with a complete assessment of your current state and your past experiences. Assess your current academic state. Be honest. Think positively. Which area of your academics do you struggle with? In which areas are you particularly strong? Are there challenges in your non-nursing life? (You can write as bullet points or as sentences)

Diagnose. Name the problems and you can solve them! Use creative language to name 2 or 3 particular problems you want to work on. Eg time management (difficulty handling personal and professional life, excess mobile phone)

Set goals. There should be at least 1 or 2 for each problem. You can return to these at the end of the semester. Make them measureable.

Plan. Think deeply about the problems areas you have identified. Have you tried to improve on these before? What has helped? What new strategies can you try? What 3 steps for each goal will you take to achieve your goals? Create a timeline for implementing your strategies for study, stress-management or test-taking. Is there an app that would be helpful? Start by accessing a resource for 1500-5000 NCLEX-RN style questions. Use ATI RESOURCES.

You don’t have to write implementation and evaluation for this assignment. You can keep it with you and ask yourself about the next two steps.

Implement. Introspection

Evaluate. Ask yourself about your progress. Return to the assessment phase…how are things going? Are you on track to meet your goals? Identify new areas of need for improvement. Add to or chancgoge your plan to meet your goals
