The final project will focus on a topic of your choice, in consultation with me; alternately, you may consider using one of the questions from the list below (feel free to modify it to suit your needs). Text-based projects (the research paper and the historiographical review) should be about 3,000 words (not including footnotes or works cited); blogs should be 2,500 words; requirements for other formats are available here Download here.
All projects must make use of at least 3 academic texts outside of course readings, one of which must be a monograph (book-length study of the subject). All projects must adhere to standard formatting (for papers: 12-point font, 1.25” margins, double spacing, Chicago-style citations), and should include a title (no separate title page necessary) and a bibliography.
