ASSESSMENT STRATEGY

Formative Assessment

Within this module a range of formal and informal assessment activities will be employed to support you in achieving the learning outcomes.

These will include online learning and assessment activities such as multiple-choice quizzes, the use of the wiki/discussion forums for case study scenarios to develop problem-based learning.

Furthermore, there will be group work/activities within the classroom that will prepare them for their summative assessment. Simulated practice scenarios will be used for managing patients requiring postanaesthetic care from a variety of specialities and students will be given informal feedback on their performance.
