Compare and contrast three of the following literary device categories: Plot, Point of View, Character, Setting, Tone and Style, Theme, and Symbolism in the three works required. You may only use the literature from the Fiction Reading List. Use either the 1) similarities to differences or 2) point to point organizational pattern and transitional language provided on the Comparison and Contrast sheets.

Articulate an understanding of the literature selected in the essay as well as the literary terms selected for analysis rather than merely summarizing the literature articulated by external sources.

Write your essay using American Standard English. Incorporate proper syntax and grammar. Follow proper MLA formatting rules and include a well-crafted Works Cited page. A well-crafted 2-5 pages (of text) essay; is required. Attach the file and then click the submit button. Do not use more than four external sources (this limit does not include the two short stories or novel) for in text citations.
