Identify factors affecting their hydration and also gain insight into what solutions they feel would be valid/ or how they feel about proposed changes (e.g. red stickers or jugs).

Three areas of further development of your work:

1. A change project identified appears to be an existing project which was led by a staff nurse and not by the author, the assignment requires the student to identify a new change project and demonstrate their application of their leadership to the project implementation.

2. It is not clear exactly what change was made, there is a lengthy discussion on the multiple factors which could improve patient hydration and an effort to improve staff training in the subject matter, however the measurable aims and outcomes of this project have not been made explicit and therefore there is not a robust evaluation strategy in place to determine the success of the project and whether patients are more hydrated as a net result.

3. There is no evidence of co-production with the service user, service users should be consulted in the design of the project to help identify factors affecting their hydration and also gain insight into what solutions they feel would be valid/ or how they feel about proposed changes (e.g. red stickers or jugs).
