(b) Test Uses: The FastBridge aReading assessment is a computer-adaptive test that assesses the full range of reading skills from kindergarten through grade 12. By employing an adaptive test algorithm, the aReading test accurately estimates each student’s reading ability across the full range of abilities in each grade. It is intended as a universal screener to identify students at risk for academic delays and to provide results that help educators tailor instruction for each student’s needs.
