Compassion around Abortion – Quasi Experimental Research Proposal
Find a gap in the research study and design a quasi experimental research proposal around compassion towards abortion, it needs to be clear and concise with the layout and method.
Task:
Write a research proposal for an original experimental or quasi-experimental study dealing with some aspect of a set social psychology topic.
There are 4 research articles(presented in the Week 2 practical activity) that present 4 topics. These articles are based on your responses to the Week 1 module activity asking about the questions social psychology will seek to answer in the
future.
Your task is to “find a gap” in relation to one of these articles and write a proposal for research based on that gap (i.e., research question).
Your proposal must be quantitative and experimental/quasi-experimental (i.e., you must have one independent variable (IV) that is manipulated and a dependent variable (DV) that is measured).
Like an authentic research proposal, your proposal should be describing a novel study that addresses a gap you have identified in the literature. You should base your proposal on one of the gaps you identify in the Week 2 practical activity.
Reflecting on the 4 articles we examine in this activity, you might choose to look at something no one has looked at before, OR, you may choose to examine an age-old question within a new context or accounting for variables that have yet to be considered.
